The Ways and Means Committees are responsible for administering programs that provide the financial means to support our classrooms, teachers and principal and to implement PTO activities. We thank you for supporting our fundraisers and PTO programs! Donations are always much appreciated as well. Plan and manage the biennial event, including volunteers, location, food, and donations
Plan and manage the Scholastic Book Fair, book presentation and sales (TBD by Chair, usually Nov date) Plan and manage the Box Tops for Education program, collections for redemption (Three mailings in October/February/June) Plan and manage the annual cookie walk, including bakers, volunteers, and sales (Dec) Publicize family portrait sittings, presence not required for sittings (fall dates set by Coffee Pond) Plan and manage the gift wrap catalog sale, including collecting payments and arranging order/distribution (Sept/Oct) Work with Sprague Librarian to publicize and manage book donations, maintain the Remember Me bulletin board (ongoing Aug to June) Plan and manage picture day at school for class and individual student pictures (Sept date set by Coffee Pond) Gift card sales program where a portion of proceeds is earned by Sprague, plan and manage program, including collecting payments and card order/distribution (Ongoing but busiest Nov/Dec holiday season) Plan and manage the sale of Sprague merchandise (ongoing Sept to June) Wellesley Books
