Where the night will take place...

The Hunnewell Building is located at 900 Washington Street (Route 16) in Wellesley.  It is the historic carriage house for the former Cheney-Baltzell Estate and is set upon the beautiful grounds of the Massachusetts Horticultural Society's Elm Bank.

As we stand surrounded by the smiling faces of Sprague's student self-portraits, these cherished pieces of art promise to be an unforgettable reminder of why we are there and for whom we are doing this.

Who we are hoping to see there...

Leave the kids at home and spend the evening with Sprague friends, families, faculty and staff.  We are anticipating a sell-out crowd of 250 guests. Look for your invitation in February and buy your tickets!

What and How you can be part of the excitement...

Before the event...

Donate Items

There can be no Auction without some really fantastic things for people to bid on.  And, between our generous local businesses and some really creative families, there will be many sure to please.

Event Tickets

There are two very supportive businesses, Bruegger’s and CPK, who provide their donations through these events. Bring in your coupon when you grab breakfast, lunch and/or dinner on these early release days and a percentage of your bill gets donated back to Sprague.

Coupons will be distributed and available on-line in the days before each event.

Join us for the main event!  There will be great food, great friends and great cheer to be had by all. ($50 per ticket)  Tickets may be registered by credit card or by check.

Event Sponsor

Get us jump-started toward our fundraising goal by making a direct contribution to the event.  ($100-500+)

Teacher Raffle

Volunteer

Bring joy to your student by buying tickets for a chance to spend some special time with their teacher and/or favorite staff.

If you're interested in lending a hand before, during, or after the event, please sign-up here.  There are opportunities to fit all schedules and areas of expertise.

At the event…

Giving Tree

Buy an “apple” to provide funds to the Teacher’s Discretionary Fund for purchasing classroom supplies, playground equipment and all sorts of other materials that make learning more fun.  All purchasers will be entered into a raffle for a copy of Shel Silverstein's The Giving Tree, which has been signed by our sensational Sprague Faculty.  ($25)

Grab Bag

Surprise!   There’s a great selection of gift cards and smaller items to be snatched up.  Each grab promises to be at least of the same value, if not much more. ($25)

Silent Auction

There are some pretty incredible items just looking to be enjoyed.  Whether for the kids or the grown-ups, the sports enthusiast or the fashionista, the adventurous or the tried-and-true, there will be something you just can’t resist.  (Opening bids begin at $50)

Heads or Tails

A few simple coin tosses may leave you the last one standing, but could send you away with something for you (reserved parking) or your favorite student (ride to school with Officer Spencer). ($25)

Live Auction

There are ten spectacular packages that everyone will want.  But, only the highest bidder will win.  How badly do you want it?  (Opening bids begin at $250)

Paddle Raiser

Did you get outbid on some items you really wanted?  Well, here’s your chance to still do a great thing for our school.

Why attend?

The Sprague Auction is held every other year and is the PTO's largest fundraiser.  The money we raise determines our ability to provide continuing support for Sprague students and staff, through enrichment activities and investments in our school.
