LIAISONS for TOWN-WIDE PROGRAMS 2010-11

The town-wide program liaisons are responsible for supporting town-wide activities and communication between the organization and the Sprague Community.

Committee 21 (Committee for Education in the 21st Century) Ongoing but busiest during elections	Organization advocates the Wellesley Public Schools goals.  Communicate election issues to the Sprague Community.  Liaison to the town-wide committee. METCO (Metropolitan Council for Educational Opportunity) Ongoing August to June	Program supports Boston students’ integration into the Sprague Community to benefit from academic and social opportunities.  Coordinate Family Friends host families for each Sprague METCO student.  Liaison to the town-wide committee. PAC (Parent Advisory Committee) Ongoing August to June	Parent-run organization provides information to and supports parents of children with special needs.  Liaison to the town-wide committee.	OPEN for co chair Lisa Moore
POPS (Parents of Performing Students) Ongoing August to June	Assist the Sprague Band, Orchestra and Fifth Grade Chorus in performances.  Liaison to the town-wide POPS organization.	Marguerite Chatelier
