Sprague Corner

Thoughts from the WEF Spelling Bee Sprague PTO Team, eliminated on the word dietetics:
To quote John Greenleaf Whittier, "For all the saddest words of tongue and pen, the saddest are these, it might have been."
A wise man once said: "Live a dietetic lifestyle; avoid becoming diabetic."
4th grader Jack M. jokingly: "Dr G brought his “A” game by putting an “a” in the word?"

I feel like the heavyweight boxer who trained hard but was knocked out with the first (or third, I guess) punch of the championship bout. Such is life. It was fun nonetheless and now I know that if I am ever to study typhlology; expound on eisegesis; get called a giaour; or measure a magnetic field in oersteds - I will at least know how to spell it...

25 seconds to spell, 25 years to laugh over it.
