Supporting your child through the PTO will offer you memorable experiences at Sprague
Creative Arts & Sciences brings performances and programs to supplement and enhance your child’s grade level curriculum learning. Between 4-6 per grade level programs and four all school events are provided each year by the PTO.
All new books for the school library are funded by parents and the PTO. Books are also funded for the teacher lending library which provides leveled reading materials for classroom student use.
The PTO provides the principal, each classroom teacher and many supporting teachers and staff with a stipend for classroom materials and small technology. Buses for field trips are substantially subsidized.
Volunteering your time gives you a chance to help build the community around your child and to enjoy it together.

DONATE FUNDS
Voluntary contributions of membership dues are critical to meeting the PTO’s annual financial goals. We ask that you consider making a tax-deductible donation to help cover the estimated $150 we currently spend per child per year. Membership dues are requested generally in September and occasionally in March. Your financial support is always appreciated! Without your help, we could not accomplish our goals. Questions? Please make checks payable to “Sprague PTO” and send your tax deductible donation: By mail: Sprague School PTO, 401 School Street, Wellesley, MA 02482 By backpack: Put your contribution in an envelope marked PTO in your child's folder. This will be delivered to the PTO Mailbox in the school office.
To support the biennial auction, we also welcome donations of goods and services for auction.

DONATE BOOKS
Remember Me Books – Honor your child by donating a new book to the Sprague School Ellen Cunniff Library. A Remember Me! book celebrates your child’s birthday or recognizes an achievement, an occasion, or a holiday. You can also give a book in your child’s name to honor a teacher, thank a friend, or celebrate someone special. For ordering see Remember Me Books.

FOR PHOTOS
Family Portraits – Family portraits are taken by Coffee Pond outdoors in the fall, a great time to plan for holiday cards.
School Pictures – Student and classroom pictures are taken by Coffee Pond at school, typically in September.
FOR BOOKS
Book Fair – This Scholastic book fair held at school in the fall offers many paperbacks and hard covers for students of all ages.
Wellesley Books – Buy books at Wellesley Books in town and Sprague earns 20% of sales. This fundraiser is typically held in the spring in time for summer reading.
FOR GIFTWRAP
Gift Wrap – The gift wrap catalog fundraiser is held in September/October.
FOR GIFT CARDS
Shop for Sprague – Buy retail gift cards at face value, get them for face value, and Sprague earns money for every card sold. A wide variety of retailer cards are offered during the November/December holidays.
FOR GOODIES
Cookie Walk – Families donate baked goods, especially cookies, for sale to the community in early December as a kickoff to the holidays. Raffle items are offered biennially in a non-auction year.
ONLINE or CLIP BOX TOPS
Box Tops - Earn cash for our school by clipping coupons or shopping online. We do three redemptions for box tops each year, in October, February and June.
FOR EVERYTHING!!!
Sprague Auction – Our largest fundraiser is the biennial Sprague Auction. A fun night out for parents to socialize, eat and drink, and opportunities to bid on some fantastic items offered by Sprague teachers and staff, Sprague families, and supportive local merchants.

SHOP FOR SPRAGUE APPAREL
Sprague Spirit Shop – Buy Sprague merchandise for kids and adults, including: shirts, hats, pants, fleece, magnets, bags, umbrellas, etc. We put out new merchandise every year. Look for the red Sprague Spirit tent at various school events, or order by completing an order form. Any questions, contact the Sprague Spirit Shop Chair.

Sprague Yearbook is for all grades and features not only individual and class photos, but candids of events throughout the year.
