Each family's contribution of $100 per child (suggested amount) allows the PTO to partially fund our programs throughout the year.

 

 

 

The annual operating budget of $80,000+ is funded from:

  • Auction Income

  • Business Sponsorship / Advertising

  • Fundraisers

Direct Dues allow for ease of funding without having to ask parents to write multiple checks throughout the year. Consider paying Online using the Add to Cart button above, or with the Donation Form below.

1. Creative Arts and Science programs are brought to every classroom.

 

  • Kindergarten - Veronica Robles, Broadmoor, Tanglewood Marionettes, MWRA

  • 1st Grade - Wingmasters, Ghanaian Folktale Performance, A Day in Ghana, The Natick Community Organic Farm

  • 2nd Grade - Motoko, Ellen Goethel-Explore the Ocean, Tom Wahle-Techsploration, Lynn Littlefield Hoopes

  • 3rd Grade - Moscow Nights, Pysanky Eggs, Eine Kleine Konsort, Bugworks, Lynn Littlefield Hoopes

  • 4th Grade - Jeff Davis, Changes of Matter, Weather, Lowell Mill Girl-Sharon Kennedy, Origamido

  • 5th Grade - Chinese Calligraphy, Chinese Paper Cutting Workshops, Light and Lasers, Lynn Littlefield Hoopes

  • Multiple Grade Events - MLK Amazing Grace, Food Play, George Russell Clap Your Hands, Ball in the House

 

2. Field Trips with bus transportation.

 

  • Kindergarten - Lands Sake Farm in fall and spring

  • 1st Grade - Blue Hills and Roger Williams Park Zoo

  • 2nd Grade - Sturbridge Village, Children's Museum, Rexhame Beach, DeCordova Sculpture Park

  • 3rd Grade - Roxbury/Dillaway Thomas, Downtown Boston-the Freedom Trail, Broadmoor

  • 4th Grade - Lowell Mills

  • 5th Grade - Morses Pond Kickoff Retreat, MFA

 

3. Library and Classroom Books keep our library up to date.

4. Curriculum Support allows teachers to have discretionary funds for each classroom.

 

5. Community Building Programs are offered many times for free or for a small fee, including the Ice Cream and Pizza Social, Parent Coffees, PTO Meetings and End of Year Picnic.

 

6. Sprague Yearbook includes photos taken throughout the school year at all events and is published in the spring.

 

7. Online School Directory allows access to an online database of Sprague student families.

 

8. Printed School Directory will be published in October, one free copy per family.
